//BUZZCUT// is a wild, community focused festival of experimental performance and live art, next week on Wednesday 5th - Sunday 9th April. Over the five days there will be over 50 performance pieces from artists from all over the world including Canada, Germany, Iceland, Chicago and Mexico, and loads of local artists as well.
Performances include 25 couples gathering to kiss in public space, a theatre piece about poverty and shame, a BSL punk spoken word band, a queer lipsync dance party and loads more! There will also be discussions every morning from 10:00 - 12:00 about community in divisive political times.
You don't need to book tickets - just turn up. All events are pay-what-you-can.
Days run from 10:00 - 23:00 - just head to The Pearce Institute in Govan (2 minutes from Govan Subway) and you'll find all the information there.
There will be BSL support on the welcome desk and in the bar and social space and over 20 shows will be BSL interpreted, with lots more being highly visual with no text.
