“There was a city called Berlin, in a country called Germany... and it was the end of the world.”
Willkommen to the Kit Kat Club, the hottest nightclub in seedy, pre-war Berlin; here, life is beautiful.
American writer Cliff Bradshaw travels to Berlin looking for inspiration, and finds it when he meets English night club singer Sally Bowles. They start a passionate affair but the Nazis’ rise to power brings a brutal end to their decadent way of life for them and the Kit Kat Club.
The production includes the well known songs “Willkommen”, “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Cabaret”, made famous in the film version by Liza Minnelli.
Cabaret is sexy, naughty, menacing musical theatre with love at the centre.
