The Driver's Seat
Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh
This play is adapted from one of Muriel Spark's most gripping and disturbing books.
It is the story of a young woman, Lise, who is travelling alone to an unnamed city and searching for 'the one'.
She leaves a trail of where she has been but as she searches her behaviour becomes increasingly strange.
Meanwhile, in a police incident room, the hunt is on for a killer.
As the tension builds and the two stories intertwine, The Driver's Seat asks if we are ever truly in control of our own lives.
