It’s thrilling to see a Deaf artist take centre stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and on main stages across Scotland, with a story inspired by Jamie’s experience of music through signed song, performed alongside a hearing musician who’s down on his luck—an unlikely and turbulent collaboration. We’re also delighted to have such incredible partners involved, and to have KT Tunstall writing music for the show! Our fantastic creative team brings together both deaf and hearing practitioners. It’s going to be an exciting journey putting this play together and sharing it with audiences, both hearing and deaf. We can’t wait.’
