ABOUT SOLAR BEAR, DYT & COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Solar Bear is a Glasgow-based theatre company that does things differently. Inclusion and collaboration is vital to what we do: we work with deaf and hearing actors, theatre makers, photographers, filmmakers, digital artists and young people. We reach out to those often excluded from the arts.
DYT is for deaf, hard of hearing and CODAs aged 11-21 who are interested in being creative, building confidence, making friends and having fun!
Our Community Projects range from one-off workshops in schools to extended programmes in clubs and groups. We aim to inspire, educate and celebrate deaf people, deaf stories and deaf heritage.
