For our final week of the ‘Happiness’ tour we had a 2-day residency with a small group of young people during half term break.
Not much time to create new work you might think? You would be wrong!
As well as music and design we also made films and a music video. This was an opportunity for the young people to learn film skills and explore visual storytelling.
We challenged the group to make a film, in an hour, with only Lego figures. The challenge was to use their everyday surroundings and transform them into a setting for an epic adventure – with a happy ending! Watch the result below.

The Change Makers
Working with Greg and Brooklyn from our creative team the group developed an original song, in English and BSL, called ‘The Change Makers’. It is full of anger, rebellion and hope for the future. Check it out below.
At the end of the last day we had a sharing for friends and family. The perfect way to end the tour.
