In summer 2018, Deaf Youth Theatre looked at the city of Glasgow through the eyes of our young people.
We went exploring – out and about and all around – to the People’s Palace, the Moving Image Archive, the Panopticon (an old theatre on Argyle Street), and beneath Glasgow Central Station. We took lots of photos and made short films. We made up stories inspired by what we saw. We explored the things, people and places that are important to us. ‘Glasgow Stories’ was the result.
The show featured a mix of live theatre, stories and films made by the young people. It was performed at the Tron Theatre on 28 July 2018.
