Fantasy and Fiction was a week where we explored our favourite stories and authors, from Roald Dahl to Dr. Seuss. From magical chocolate factories to worlds of talking animals — and even some ideas no one had ever heard of before — we gathered everyone’s creativity, mixed it all together, and produced our very own show. It was a week full of fun, imagination, and storytelling magic.

A huge thank you to Craig McCulloch (Solar Bear, Youth Theatre Co-ordinator/ Associate Director) and Emery Hunter (Co-Director) as well as the fabulous Bea Webster who ran a workshop on Dungeons and Dragons for all their hard work.

One of the big challenges at the start of the week was to develop a fantasy and fiction character. See below for some of the creations.

After developing their stories they then developed the worlds they existed within before creating short drama sequences. This included super cats, irn bru obsessed youngsters, time travel and monsters of all shapes and sizes. See below for some pictures from throughout the week.
