Originally from Belfast, Jamie is embracing the cultural scene in Glasgow and has recently curated an event as part of the GFT’s Visible Cinema series.

Moira Anne McAuslan

Moira is an experienced workshop leader and has led workshops for both schools and community groups. She won the Elaine Campbell Gullen Poetry Award 2016 and is part of the National Advocacy Group set up after the passing of the British Sign Language (Scotland) Act 2015.

Bea Webster

Bea has contributed to BBC’s The Social, has advised some theatre productions in British Sign Language, such as Solar Bear’s Tribes and has been a Creative Assistant for Solar Bear’s Deaf Youth Theatre.

Ciaran Alexander Stewart

Ciaran directed and produced Humans of Deaf People which was funded by the Equality and Diversity Forum at the RCS.

He is a previous member of Deaf Youth Theatre at Solar Bear and a recipient of The Robertson Trust Scholarship.

Danni Wright

Brooklyn was a member of Solar Bear’s Deaf Youth Theatre joining in 2008. She is now a Creative Assistant leading DYT workshops.

Petre Dobre

Previous experience: Prior to moving to Glasgow from Romania, Petre toured and appeared on television as part of No Limits dance group. They achieved a semi-final position on a Romanian national talent show. In addition, Petre has two years of acting and movement training. Petre is a grateful recipient of the Donald Dewar Arts Award which enables him to live and study in Glasgow.
