About
Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information is a play in fifty short scenes. It’s about love and how we try to make sense of things in a world bombarded by information. What’s true and what’s fake? What about intimacy, privacy, our relationships?
The production, accessible to both hearing and deaf audiences, was performed by students on the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s BA Performance in BSL and English. It toured to venues across Scotland.
Many of the scenes were in BSL, some were in English, some a mixture of both. Captioning was used extensively. This was a showcase not only of the talents of our cast, but of BSL as a language with its own creative, expressive possibilities.
